Washington D.C.
American research policy is evolving quickly, creating an ongoing need among Danish research stakeholders - particularly universities and RTOs - for deeper insight into the developments. To address this need, the Ministry of Higher Education and Science has placed a Research Attaché at the Embassy in Washington D.C. The position is affiliated with Innovation Centre Denmark.
The Science Attaché’s main responsibility is to monitor and communicate developments in American research policy while identifying and promoting opportunities for Danish-American research collaboration.
The Science Attaché works in close coordination with the other Danish innovation centres in the United States -ICDK Boston and ICDK Silicon Valley - to ensure a cohesive Danish presence across the country.
This initiative strengthens Denmark’s ability to navigate and engage with the dynamic American research landscape, supporting Danish interests and fostering meaningful international partnerships
