In 2021, Miiskin participated in The Digital Health Innovation Camp organized by ICDK Boston, and in 2022 they won the pitch competition in the Nordic Amplify Program, designed to accelerate opportunities for co-development and growth in the U.S for innovative, Nordic Digital Health and Medtech companies.

With an abundance of top universities and hospitals, Boston is a natural leader in digital health.

One of the leading innovative trends in Digital Health is consumer AI, which allowspatients to use data to improve their health.

The Digital Health Innovation Camp is designed and hosted virtually by ICDK Boston. The camp aims to strengthen the outlook of business and innovation opportunities in the U.S and to provide a deeper understanding of the local Boston and U.S sphere within digital health.

The Nordic AMPlify Programme is a joint hospital program and a strategic Nordic-U.S collaboration empowered by Nordic Innovation, Business Sweden, Business Finland, Promote Iceland and ICDK Boston (representing Denmark). The Nordic AMPlify Program of 2022 received 270 applications from health tech companies in the Nordics, from which 14 companies were accepted.

The Innovation Camp was organised throughout 10 weeks with various experts. The healthcare market is under a deep transformation pushing established and reputable medical centres to enhance an important focus on external innovation. Open doors, building and maintaining strong partnerships between the life science sectors in Denmark and the U.S is part of ICDK Boston’s DNA. A prime example of this is The Digital Innovation Camp and The Nordic Amplify Programme where ICDK Boston use their extensive network and help accelerate Danish innovation.

Nordic AMPlify is designed to accelerate opportunities for co-development and growth in the U.S for innovative, promising Nordic Digital Health and Medtech companies by offering support, mentoring and funding opportunities from U.S key opinion leaders within this field.

During a yearly mentorship, companies are provided with several opportunities to pitch to various stakeholders, including clinicians, health systems and investors. The companies are each assigned a U.S-based local mentor that reviews their progress and helps navigating concerns that they may have regarding their solution and the fit to the U.S market.

The Digital Health Innovation Camp took place in the Fall term in 2021. Over a week of fruitful workshops, debates and presentations, the partners learned from U.S leaders of Digital Health Innovation. Through discussions of innovative science, ICDK Boston gathered experts, expanded knowledge and fostered potential future collaboration between key U.S and Danish players in the field.

The overarching goal of the Digital Health Innovation Camp is to inspire and educate digital health and medtech companies, startups, investors and governmental institutions that operate within this space of Denmark by connecting them with U.S players. The camp allows the Danish stakeholders to liase with local Boston and U.S East Coast players who lead the way for Digital Health exploration, ultimately helping them leverage the Ecosystems of both Boston and Denmark and to make medicine more personalized and precise.
