INTRODUCTION TO THE SOUTHERN GERMAN ECOSYSTEM

The programme in short

From 20-22 January 2022, ICDK Munich hosts 3-day entrepreneurship programme with introduction to the Southern German innovation ecosystem. This includes meeting and exchange with leading German ecosystem players.
 
The programme will focus on gaining insight into:
  • Collaboration between start-ups and corporates
  • Corporate innovation models, including the "Venture Client" model as a recipe for successful innovation in Southern Germany
  • How industry and universities work join forces in the area of entrepreneurship and start-up collaboration
Following the introduction days by Innovation Centre Denmark, the programme continues from 24-28 January 2022 with a 5-day “Entrepreneurship and Innovation” train-the trainer course at the Technical University of Munich (TUM), Institute of Lifelong Learning.
 

The participants

20 Danish innovation leaders and experts from entrepreneurship centres and innovation departments from Danish universities, industry and innovation clusters will participate in the programme. The programme will give them the opportunity to gain inspiration and knowledge through insights into and meetings with key players from the Southern German innovation ecosystem.
 

The organizers

Innovation Centre Denmark and Otto Mønsted Foundation have created a programme consisting of entrepreneurship modules for relevant Danish actors with innovation, technology and entrepreneurship in focus.
 
The Danish participation in the programme is funded by the Otto Mønsted Foundation.
The objective of the Otto Mønsted Foundation is to contribute to Danish trade and industry. According to the original deed from 1934, the funds distributed by the foundation are intended for a.o. educating teachers and business schools, including the Technical University of Denmark, supporting young engineering and graduate students etc., as well as promoting Denmark’s commercial and corporate sector.
 

A key ambition with the current project and partnership with ICDK Munich is to internationalization entrepreneurship and innovation at Danish universities, clusters and industry organisations. OMF already funds a number of initiatives and activities at entrepreneurship centres at Danish universities (including DTU Skylab and Copenhagen School of Entrepreneurship).
