National quantum strategy

Quantum Momentum

The Danish government highlights Israel in its national strategy for quantum technologies, identifying the country as a key partner for international research and innovation collaboration.

Denmark is in the Quantum Race

The Danish Government has published a two-part National Strategy for Quantum Technologies. A central initiative of the strategy is international cooperation in research and innovation for the benefit of Denmark. Alongside Canada, Japan, South Korea, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, and the United States, Israel stands out for its strong research capabilities and significant investments in quantum technologies.

Quantum was especially in focus as part of Denmark’s EU council presidency in 2025. During which, Innovation Centre Denmark Tel Aviv, in close collaboration with the Israel Innovation Authority, spearheaded a dedicated quantum industry delegation to European Quantum technology Conference (EQTC) 2025 in Copenhagen.
Additionally, Innovation Centre Denmark Tel Aviv is part of the Niels Bohr Quantum Summer School which is a direct part of the government’s National Strategy for Quantum Technology. The summer School initiative is coordinated by DeiC and organised by a collaboration between DeiC, Innovation Centre Denmark, and the Danish universities.

At Innovation Centre Denmark Tel Aviv, we are committed to helping Danish actors collaborate with Israel to stay at the forefront of the quantum race.
